"IN ESSENTIALS UNITY…" WHAT IS "ESSENTIAL"? Presenter: Larry

This workshop addresses the often-quoted
slogan from our restoration heritage "In essentials, unity; in nonessentials,
liberty; in all things, love". HOW do we determine WHAT
is essential? This will be done by introducing and reviewing Dr. Jack
Cottrell's book FAITH'S FUNDAMENTALS -- SEVEN ESSENTIALS OF CHRISTIAN BELIEF.

WHERE IS THE RESTORATION MOVEMENT GOING? Presenter: Mark Taylor
This workshop will consider the future of the
Restoration Movement. What is our vision for the future? Where are we headed as
a movement? This workshop will be presented by Mark Taylor, the Publisher and
Editor of the Christian Standard and will be based on two articles
presented in the June 13th issue of that publication.

workshop will examine one of the “sister” religious movements that traces its
heritage back to the beginnings of the Stone-Campbell Movement; the Disciples
of Christ. The presenter for this workshop is Robert Welsh,
the ecumenical officer for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), who has
served as the primary staff for the national Stone-Campbell Dialogue since it
was launched in 1999. He is an elder at Allisonville Christian Church, his home congregation in
