The presenter for this workshop is Robert Welsh, the ecumenical officer for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), who has served as the primary staff for the national Stone-Campbell Dialogue since it was launched in 1999. He is an elder at Allisonville Christian Church, his home congregation in Indianapolis. |

With the present landscape of the church, the world, and higher education, what value do Bible colleges presently have for churches committed to the Restoration plea? What can church leaders do to maximize the value of colleges' partnership with them? This workshop will provide an update on the present state of Bible colleges with the opportunities and challenges that colleges confront. Jon Weatherly has served on the faculty of Cincinnati Christian University since 1990, teaching New Testament and presently serving as Vice President for Academic Affairs. A native of Indianapolis, he also serves as an elder at his congregation in Cincinnati. |
