Robert Welsh This workshop will examine one of the "sister" religious movements that traces its heritage back to the beginnings of the Stone-Campbell Movement; the Disciples of Christ. The presenter for this workshop is Robert Welsh, the ecumenical officer for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), who has served as the primary staff for the national Stone-Campbell Dialogue since it was launched in 1999. 5 THE VALUE OF BIBLE COLLEGES IN THE 21st CENTURY RESTORATION MOVEMENT Jon Weatherly With the present landscape of the church, the world, and higher education, what value do Bible colleges presently have for churches committed to the Restoration plea? What can church leaders do to maximize the value of colleges' partnership with them? This workshop will provide an update on the present state of Bible colleges with the opportunities and challenges that colleges confront. Jon Weatherly has served on the faculty of Cincinnati Christian University since 1990, teaching New Testament and presently serving as Vice President for Academic Affairs.
